WOW!!! Customer service extraordinaire!!! I had searched all over California looking for a flight school that offered career helicopter training. I had been to several different schools, but I was most impressed with CAS. I was met by the owners when I showed up for my flight and several of the instructors, they actually spent some time with me and asked me what my ultimate goals were with an aviation career. They gave me a tour of the school and their maintenance facilities. I was impressed that they had their own maintenance services (most other schools contracted maintenance out to a 3rd party). After my tour by golf cart they showed me the back wall behind the scheduling desk in the front office, which was covered by photos of people standing next to helicopters and airplanes, they explained to me that these were previous students who were now working in the industry. It was very impressive. I was then introduced to my instructor and went on my first flight. WOW!!! Super demo flight and a very knowledgeable and easy going instructor (Allen was his name). Even though I was nervous and was messing up the controls (it was my first flight) the instructor remained calm and cool and kept me at ease. I was very impressed by the professionalism of all the instructors and I was especially impressed by the owners (Leo and Raquel) who actually personally gave me the tour and scheduled my flight! Not sure about the other review on here because that was far from my experience. If all goes well I will update this review, but so far so very impressed!!!
