I judge a good mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa immediatly served upon seating. You can pretty much count on this theory. If they arent up to par, then the rest of the experience will be the same. At Salsalito you will always be seated promptly and offered the tastiest crispy thin & still warm & tender mouthwatering chips! The salsa, well, it's is outta this world and they serve it heated! Its simply the best! I have found the food to very dependable, its always good. The service is pronto! My favorites are the enchiladas and the unltimate is the one served with the sourcream sauce. Simply to die for! They have a very nice happy hour for scrumptious margaritas. They are also worth mentioning! After you have been to the upscale restaurant in the neighborhood shopping center. You will love the down home prices and you will be back! I try other places but always come home to Salsalito! Great bargain lunches!
Pros: Ambience, its very nice inside. Notice the crosses everywhere!
Cons: Get there early, cause it gets crowded!
