Review content:
The key in that title is CARE. The stylists at Evolution, from the time you walk in the door to when you leave, actually care about the style AND condition of your hair. The first time I got my hair done here, they offered me a drink and asked me to fill out a consultation card relaying the state of my hair and the goals I have for it. Definitely different than anything else I had been to, and this was just within the first 5 minutes!\r

Of course the style was GREAT. My stylist was truly a perfectionist and wanted to make sure every strand was curved and pressed just right. Unfortunately, because I had natural hair at the time and got a press, it reverted the same evening and I was very frustrated. I went back, and the owner of the salon gave me a free cut to make up for it.\r

I finally decided to get a perm for the first time in my life, and I only trusted evolution to do it. I cried during the process, and instead of ignoring my tears, the staff comforted me. I truly felt like I was in a room with family. \r

Even though I'm a working student and not quite balling outta control, I make sure to come here! It's pricey, but still pretty affordable. And for healthy hair, assurance that I'm going to get a great style without risk of my hair falling out, a staff that cares, and a warm, calm environment, I'd say it's well worth it.
Pros: Warm, friendly service; professional, knowledgebale staff; they actual care about your hair's condition
Cons: A bit pricey, but it's pretty decent for NY...I'm used to ATL prices!
