I have had great service from a couple of mechanics in the Austin area. I came to this site for one that is a little closer physically to my location and I regret doing so.\r

I will not be back for service. I got several easy issues fixed with no problem and had a couple issues that were routine but a bit more difficult, that were swept over or not done correctly. I was mislead about a part replacement as well, stating that they replaced a part when in fact they did nothing. I marked a part since it was the second time they would replace it after it didn't fix the issue, really never expecting to find that mark when I picked up the car again. I asked at that time and they said they replaced it yet it was clearly the same part, unbelievable. If you have something easily fixed then you will probably get by fine, if not prepare yourself for less than spectacular service.\r

Furthermore the practice of passing out coupons to receive a discount on further auto repairs if you leave feedback on this site is totally misleading. I found BW Automotive through this site and I believe it may not reflect their actual quality of service. People who got decent service and want a future discount will be much more likely to leave feedback (positive at that) and get the discount from the coupon for doing so. I will not be going back and neither will anyone I know. I could leave more about communication and timely repairs but this is enough. As a consumer I will leverage my opinion with my dollar elsewhere in the future, truly terrible overall.
Pros: Price was accurate (for bad service?)
Cons: Shoddy service and misleading behavior.
