Hi once again Amanda.........everyone!
If you are wanting a more "natural" birth experience, I highly recommend this place. I LOVED LOVED LOVED all the docs and midwifes I met while I was here. They all tried so hard to help me and my family have a family birth experience. I was a "high risk" pregnancy from the start, but they thought that w/proper monitoring and doctor involvement early on, that I could still possible deliver at the center. It was not to be.
I was monitored closely the entire pregnancy here.
They have really nice, comfortable beds and rooms.
As I said before all the midwifes were great. They really care about the moms to be. There were birthing classes offered at the center, even a big brother/sister class. They are located right next to Tucson Medical Center, just in case anything goes wrong. My midwifes saw me at the hospital for early scares, and one was there when my boy actually DID show up.............6 weeks early, backwards and blue! My DH didn't even have time to make it into the delivery room, but she was there quickly to help me. The staff is friendly too.
They were helpful and had a good sense of humor, if I remember correctly. Everyone here was so caring. I have a very good friend who successfully had both of her children here and wouldn't think of doing it anywhere else. So, I would call and get in ASAP to talk to them and see if it is what you would want. (One thing I didn't see in your request is where you are located in Tucson. All my reviews are for places near TMC, which is on the East side of town.)
Anyway.............hope some of this information helps you find an OB/GYN that you love.
