Review content:
I was referred to Childrens's Eye Physicians by my sons pediatrician, naturally I thought that they would provide great service. I made my 7mth old sons appointment the first appointment of the day (8AM) as anyone with an infant knows they do not have a lot of patience waiting around. and because I was told to plan on a 2 hour appointment. Check-in was fast and easy, the nurse who walked us back was very personable and great with my son. Now here is the part that soured our experience. After the nurse got us settled in she said she was going to get the doctor. We waited, looked at the wall art, waited, bounced, played peekaboo, bounced and bouced some more. After seeming like it was taking forever for the doctor to come in (I was the first appointment remember) I went and walked the halls to find someone. What I thought had only been 10-15 minutes, trying not to be too impatient was actually 45 minutes that we had already waited. I found a nurse to tell her I was just making sure a doctor would be in to see us, since we were new I did not know if waiting 45+ minutes was normal (did we still have 2 hours to go?) The nurse found the doctor and she came in the room right away and said she didnt know I was waiting. Im sorry? I dont understand why she did not check to see if she had patients at all that morning. I am glad I said something because who knows how long we would have been sitting there. She proceeded to do the exam and was having a hard time relating to my son to get his attention. I did not feel comfortable when I left the office that she knew what she was doing, she sounded hesitant in her answers and if/when we needed to make a follow up appointment. And I caught her here and there checking out herself in the mirror fixing her hair while trying to talk to me about my sons eyes. Very annoying to say the least! Very disappointed for lack of intelligence, waiting time and now having to get a second opinion. I hope others have better luck. Pros: Fast check-in Cons: The doctor
