I'm honestly surprised that everyone ""loves"" At The Beach. The only reason I go there is because the location is convenient. The staff is pushy and are always trying to sell you lotion or packages. I also think their prices are a rip off. I've been tanning for many years and I have never been to a tanning salon that forces me to sign such an overwhelming contract. All I wanted was a simple monthly fee, but instead I was forced to sign up for a month-to-month package at $28 dollars for the most basic bed. I also find that they do not have enough beds so I end up waiting. Lastly, the staff rarely smiles or greets me with sincerity. Several times I went in and one staff member was on the phone the entire time!!!!! All he did was move the phone from his ear to speak with me. As I said before- the ONLY reason I bought a package here was because of its convenient location. After my 1 month ends, I am going to look for a new place to tan.
