This company is horrible! They don't even deserve 1 star. My fridge wasn't cooling properly, so I scheduled a service call online because it says it would save you $10 on the service call. Well the guy comes out and says it needs a new defrost control and that he might have one in the truck. The grand total...312.41, 89.95 service call, 104.95 for labor, 98.44 for the part, and the rest in tax! He said I could pay that or $90+ for his service call. I asked if that price included $10 off the service call and he said yes. I get my receipt emailed to me and sure enough, no $10 discount (not to mention the entire service call should be applied to the repair as is done with any other reputable company). I call to complain and she says ""you were given the $10 discount"", I told her that I was looking at my receipt and that I wasn't. She puts me on hold and comes back and says ""oh, he gave you $10 off the part"". Unbelievable! Stay away from this company! Update 1/31/12 - In fairness to the business, after filing a complaint with the BBB, Mike with Central Repair refunded the cost of the repair less the service call.
