Review content:
This review is for the Conway Xtreme Fitness location. I signed a 12 month contract which was to end November 2007. I began getting frequent phone calls asking if I wanted to continue on a month to month basis. I decided I would since I needed to lose weight after having my second child. I was told I needed to come in and sign papers for this to continue. The individual who did the contract hardly paid attention to me during the contract process. He was on the phone off and on, and did not seem to really know what he was doing. Being a new mom and getting very little sleep, I just took his word that we were doing a month to month deal. I went in today, 5-16-08, to cancel. I was told I signed a 12 month contract and most likely could not cancel since I was not moving 50 miles away. The lady at the counter handed it over to the guy who actually did the poor job of writing the contract. He barely listened to me and jumped up and said he was going to call someone to see if I could go month to month. He was gone for about 5 minutes, came back, and said ""he"" said since I only had until November 2008 he would not let me go month to month. I feel like I've been conned into staying at a gym that doesn't even keep their equipment up and running appropriately. DON'T BE CONNED LIKE I WAS!!!
Pros: Open 24 hrs
Cons: Gym equipment not kept in working order
