For some reason the menu here doesn't anywhere tell you that you can order soy cheese and veggie ""pepperoni"" even though it is available. The cheese is vegan (there's no casein in it), as is the pepperoni, so if you just tell the server you want the vegan pizza with the veggie pepperoni they'll know. I don't know anywhere else in L.A. that makes vegan pizzas (there is a place on Hollywood Blvd I've heard of, but it is closed for renovation right now). I've been coming here every week since I discovered this place, and always am able to get seated at a table immediately, and you maybe wait about 20 minutes for your pizza. But I have only been during the week, and at about 9:00 at night, so I don't know what its like during weekends or during the normal dinner hours. It's a dive yeah, but it's also really cheap, and where else are you going to get vegan pizza anyways! This spot is definitely a must for any vegan in L.A. Pros: vegan cheese and pepparoni!, $2 parking accross directly the street at the Canter's parking lot Cons: could be a wait for the food, but well worth it
