Review content:
My husband and I ate at Noodles Panini in Ft. Lauderdale after the recent art fest. The waitress was very distracted, unfriendly and downright rude. We visited the bathrooms prior to getting our table, and that should have been a clue to LEAVE the restaurant. In the men's bathroom, there was a ladder stored that you had to step around to wipe your hands. The ladies restroom had a filthy floor, the toilet seat was very loose, so that you had to hang onto or it would move when getting up.\r \r Right beside the rest room doorway was a portable bakers rack on wheels that had tomatoes, almonds, buns, bread, etc... right out in the open. \r \r The noodle dish that we both ordered was gummy, not fully cooked pasta. The two ladies at the table next to ours wanted their bill split, and the waitress told them it couldn't be done. "Just pay for it and one of you pay the other one," she was told.\r \r The prices were higher than I anticipated, but if the food had been good, I wouldn't mind paying a bit more. When the waitress brought me the bill, 18% gratuity had been added. I asked her why it was automatically added on and she told me that it was always added on during the art fest and she went to a table and brought over a plastic sign stating 18% would be automatically added. There was no sign on our table or the two nearest to us. When I brought up that the menu stated that 5 or more people at a table would require the 18% gratuity added, she merely said that this was their procedure. I asked to speak to the owner or manager, and he ignored me at first, then said he would remore the 18%, but by this time I had already paid with my credit card and I told him so. I said that the waitress was rude, it was unfare to tack on a large gratuity without clearly stating so and that the food was not good, and the service was terrible. I told him we would not be back. I highly recommend that you STAY CLEAR of this restaurant.
