J.L Cheers is the worst bar I have ever been to. If you don't mind paying $7 for a drink that does not have the liquor you ordered and is half the amount of liquor in it then a single drink is supposed to have then you might not mind.If you can look past the general atmosphere or the fact that your bartender will have a good chance of being wasted or too busy doing lines in the bathroom to even take care of you. If ever in there ask to see the liquor closet which is full of cheap liquor bottles that the owner passes off as his more expensive liquor. It is very rare that you will get crown in there so don't even ask you will get what ever was the cheapest canadian wiskey in the liquor store that week and all of the stoil in their is Burtans I think thats the name thats the first time I ever saw it. He also likes to add water to all the liquor the only thing in there that is what you ordered is the beer cause that can't be messed with. But even with that you will end up with more head then beer so you pay $4 for a pint of foam. That is how the owner wants his batenders to pour it. He does not hire people with experiece so he can train them his way. And if they wll not rip off the customers then they are out the door. There are alot of really great bars in SouthEast Denver so I recomend going to one of them. This one would be rated as a - 10. If you like dive bars this one is the worst of the worst you ar payin down town prices for a place that I would not even consider as a dive bar. It i much much lower then even that.
