I worked with New Age Designer during the summer of 2005. They custom made a cheong sam for me for my wedding. I had shopped around, and found that they had the best fabric with the exact embroidery that I wanted. I found the customer service was very good, even though the ladies there can be bossy. I recommend going with an older chinese person (like your mom, aunt or grandmother), so they don't push you around. Other than that, the people there are great. They listen and help you make choices. I had three fittings all together, and my dress came out PERFECT and beautiful. One other downside was the price. Very expensive, but for me, it was worth it!
