Review content:
I was referred to the Mech Center by a friend after I had to change doctors. She said the place was helpful and easy to deal with. Now that I have gone and been there quite a few times, I am not sure if we are both going to the same place. When I went there for my first appointment I had told Dr Mech that the medication I was on was good but I think we need to up the dosage because I had been on the same dosage for quite a while and eventually with this medicine your body gets use to it. Instead of upping my dosage like any one else would because that is how the medication is formulated he completely changed medications on me. I had horrible side effects from the medication and my symptoms were worse than when I didn't take any medication at all. So I went back again a couple of weeks later, once again instead of putting me on what already works they put me on another new medication, this one was even worse and cost much more. Now keep in mind that I was having to go back every two weeks to see how the medication was working so that's 30 dollars each time plus they kept changing my prescription so I was also paying anywhere from 40-80 per perscription every two weeks. FINALLY after 3 months of trial and error the doctor finally puts me on the initial medication I was on when I was there for my first visit and even then they didn't give me an exact they prescribed me the original formula instead of the XR so I don't get the same help or effects as I did in the past when I was with my other doctor. Now I understand that since I went to a new doctor every practice wants to have their own findings but I was perfectly fine and happy with my prior doctor and everything was working great it was due to a change in medical plans etc that I had to find this doctor. FIND SOMEONE ELSE or FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN... Pros: There are some people that are on the staff that really take the time Cons: Reception Area, Dr Mech, No Listening Skills etc
