Review content:
Since the place was recommended to me by a friend who's from Vietnam, it must be authentic. I've had beef noodle soup at a handful of places in Portland and Pho Hung on 47th and Powel is by far my favorite. I love their spring rolls and the broth is not watered down. I drive to the east side to get my fix whenever I can. A good trick to finding a decent asian restaurant is to follow the asian community and go where they go! Just be prepared when your asian friends laugh at you when you order the ""Beginner"" bowls.
Pros: cheap, fast, delicious, and healthy
Cons: can be very crowded, not a good romantic date place
