I'm a great shopper, and I try to always find the best quality at the lowest prices. My girlfriend, Hallie, had bought a very lovely Blackglama Mink Jacket at Wachtenheim Furs last year and she always raved about the selection. I finally brought my hubby in, and Daniel Wachtenheim was so cordial, so knowledgable, and incredibly helpful. He helped me find a beautiful Ranch Mink Jacket for myself which both I and my hubby approved of. Then....as we were all in a good mood and my hubby saw that this wasn't going to cost him an arm and a leg (we had been to Bloomingdales before and saw THEIR prices), he said I could pick out another jacket! So I chose the cutest pink mink jacket which Daniel had one of. A one-of-a-kind PINK mink Jacket!! I was so pleased, I refer all my friends now and future to Daniel and WAchtenheim Furs. He is the owner by the way, but his father was the founder and I found out later that 2 of my aunts had gotten their furs decades ago from his father. Small world. I highly recommend this Fur SAlon over all others, and I did my due diligence. Checked out every fur salon in Beverly Hills and finally found this one in downtown LA. It's a comfortable showroom, HUGE HUGE selection, and very nice people. Also....it's located across from Bottega Louie, one of my favorite downtown restaurants, so we had lunch there next time we came down to pick up the finished jackets which had been altered. Yummy Bottega Louie, 2 new furs, it was a dream day.
