I went to Care Now complaining of typical flu symptoms: dry cough, headached, fatigue, body aches, low grade fever. I do have history of asthma but, I was breathing very well with NO wheezing. I told the doctor that I was sure I had early flu symptoms and thought I need Tamiflu. He said I didn't have flu because my temp. should be at least 103 degrees and I should be desperately sick. (This was in direct contradiction with the CDC's flu website.) Still, Dr. Tim Jones diagnosed me with bronchitis and did not treat me for the flu. Two days later I was worse and called ""Care Now"". I was now also vomiting profusely. Again Dr. Jones said this was not a flu symptom. I read the CDC website and it listed all my symptoms as flu related. Finally that day I was so ill that I went to the hospital ER and was given IVs and treated for you guessed it, the flu. I was horribly sick for a week and Dr. Jones could have prevented this! My advice to you is that you find somewhere other than Care Now for medical treatment. I subsequently reported my experience to Care Now's corporate office in Coppell, TX. They wrote that they've done an investigation and I'll be receiving a refund on my $30 copay. Big deal! I suffered more than words can describe. I'm reporting this doctor to the Texas Medical Association. Pros: Web check-in, Seen quickly Cons: Wrong diagnosis, subsequently had to go to ER
