This was the first Chinese restaurant I went to after moving to Dallas from New York. Pretty good... no Chinatown, but good enough that my brother and I have gone back a few times and the food is consistent. The dumplings, both fried and steamed, are flavorful and the meat filling is not diluted with a lot of cabbage. The beef lo mein was good as well. The noodles are only of passable consistency but the sauce they use really makes the dish - it's indescribably delicious, sweet and salty and not too thick while still covering every noodle and piece of beef. The General Tso's chicken my brother ordered was alright. He thought the flavor was good but could have been a bit stronger. He ordered it a second time, though, so it can't have been too bad! The wonton soup was repeatedly disappointing, though; both the broth and the wonton were impossibly bland. My brother had the same reaction to the sweet corn soup. Luckily, the crunchies on the table were fresh and light, not too oily. Pros: lo mein, good location Cons: boring soup
