Recently I took my 06 SUV in for an oil change where they charged me for 7 qts of synthetic oil?my truck holds only 6?.so I paid them not realizing at the time I could not trust them?a month and half pass and my vehicle starts making a fluttering noise that sounded like I got some cheap gas ?so I ran the tank out and filled up again at a different place than I usually do but the noise still didn?t subside?so on Jan 30 ?11 I popped into Advance Auto parts just to check and see if I needed oil?.it didn?t not leak nor have I ever seen it burn oil (my truck is always garaged so I would notice a leak of any kind)?well much to my surprise I see a dry dip stick so I run in and by a qt of oil and add it to my truck?.wait 10 min and check the stick again?still nothing dry as a bone?..I go back into the store and buy another qt and put it in and finally get a reading?.the mgr of this store was standing outside watching me do this and commented to me about where I have my oil changed and I told him Walmart?.he said he has heard this many times from other folks too?.
