My husband and i wanted to try a new restaurant for our anniversary, so we decided on valentinos. We get there and the hostess just stared at us, no hi, hello, nothing. Strike one. We get sat and everything seemed to be normal so we ordered our wine and our apps. then we waited, and waited, they were not that busy so we were wondering. Finally decided to leave from the conversation he could not part himself from to do his job, and gave us our drinks.Strike two. My husband ordered the tuna and i ordered the crabcakes, and requested a salad it was deemed a side and still had to pay an extra couple of dollars for it, i didnt mind until it came out, pure iceburg lettuce and 1 cherry tomato. An extra charge for what ,use of a plate. I trying to stay in good spirits over the mediocre salad joking around with my husband that its a sign of things to come. Food arrives, everything looks great, visible chunks of crab, that was nice. the flavor was HORRIBLE!!! my husbands tuna was medium well when he asked for a sear. We ate and ran not wanting to be there any longer. We were going to spend a lovely,kid-free, night on the town until my husband gets very, ver ill. we just knew it was from the restaurant because he had not eaten that day. Well i for one will not ever return and would not wish that on my worst enemy!
