A few things I'd like to say about Salon Purple:
1. The atmosphere is great. The decor is really hip and inviting, the music that they play is loud enough to create a mood, but not too loud to be annoying. I guess that's not really something that you'd think to be necessary in a place where you go to get your hair styled, but it's a really great touch that enhances the entire experience.
2. The people are wonderful. I have had conversations with many of the staff members, the stylists and the owner, and they are all super friendly, helpful and courteous. They all really know their trade very well, and they run a tight ship. The owner seems to be a really great person to work for, and it shows in the attitudes of the employees I've met with. I always enjoy doing business with people who enjoy their profession, and the people at Salon Purple definitely do.
3. The service is excellent. I do not have great hair to begin with, and little to no sense as to how to make it look cool. So when I go into a salon environment, I am always nervous that they will not be able to help me, or that they will take what little hair I have left (lulz) and mess it up (this has happened on occasion elsewhere--they were either trying to make it too hipster or just not in possession of the skills to work with what I've got going on) The stylist that has helped me at Salon Purple, Avery, addressed my concerns immediately and worked with me to come up with a style that works for me. And, every time, I am amazed with the results.
Long story longer, I think Salon Purple is a great place to go for a full experience in hair style. The staff is professional and courteous as well as creative and artistic, and I could not suggest a better salon to go to for all of your needs.
