Decided to check out Shorty's because of the word-of-mouth I'd been privy to, and I wasn't disappointed at all! I made an appointment, got there, needing a color, highlights, lowlights and a cut, and was promptly seen by Cherie. She was awesome...we tackled the color first, and she was quick to point out how much she liked my natural lowlights, and that it would simply be a waste of money to ADD them. Huh? When does a stylist try to SAVE you money? After getting EXACTLY the color I wanted, beautiful and shiny, she proceeded to give me the most gorgeous shag haircut I've received in my life...not an easy prospect because of the fact that my head is shaved underneath. She explained that she had once had the same hairstyle, so she knew exactly how to cut it, whereas every other stylist I've gone to has shied away from trying to give me what I asked for. Beautiful. Simply awesome. I was in and out in an hour and a half, she was great, and I paid $25 for the haircut and $90 for the color. A veritable STEAL, considering this may be one of the best haircuts I've had in my life. Pros: Great atmosphere, insanely low prices for what you actually get Cons: none that I can think of
