I came to Dr. Caverly due to a recent stomache pain that a regular doctor related symptoms to appendisitus but told me to see a gynocologist if conditions didn't worsen for a pelvic exam. I went to Dr. Caverly the next day (under the other dr's instructions) to get a pelvic exam. I waited for a good hour to see her, which was a little shorter than my only other visit to her office. After checking my pelvis and hearing the reason for my coming in that day, Dr. Caverly proceded to YELL me for a good 7-8 mins. Her episode consisted of her telling me she felt ""used"" that I was going to her just for a pelvic exam, that I was ""farming out my body"" because I was going to see different doctors, told me this was the craziest thing she had ever seen someone do, that I was ""not just a uterus"", that I should have called earlier so that she could order some test (I'm not a doctor I was just following another Dr's orders) insulted my mother for having me drive home to see my home doctor, and on and on....Note that I had been experiencing very high blod pressure when I went to the dr the previous day and also when I got to Dr.Caverly's office (which she was aware of). This is the most personally attacked I have ever felt and the most unprofessional scene I have ever heard of, especially from someone who is a DOCTOR. I told her I wanted to leave and she was going to have me sign a waiver that I was leaving against her will and told me she was going to ""drop me from her practice"". I have never seen or heard of anyone EVER treat another adult let alone another patient like this. I will NEVER return to her office again.
Pros: her nurses are nice
Cons: she is an unprofessional NIGHTMARE
