My wife and I have gone to dews quite a few times. I actually proposed to my wife at the old location. I love the food and service. The problem we've had the last few times is when we call for reservations they ask the occasion. Why would you market yourself as a special occasion only restaurant. I realized that we only go once a year, but last time our bill for two entrees and four drinks was 150$. Its absolutely insane!! Maybe if they charged 20 a plate instead of 30, or charged 20 dollars for a 10 dollar bottle of wine instead 35, more people would eat there. And do it more often. I love the food so much that I would eat there at least once a month if it was more affordable. I mean come on were in a recession here people. My wife and I have come to terms with the fact that it just isn't worth the money. I am willing to have lesser service in another restaurant if it will save my 75 dollars.... literally 75 dollars saved on a comparable meal. unbelievable?? Pros: Wonderful food, great drink selection Cons: unreal prices
