Review content:
I have had my child in this school for over a year. Initially, I felt good about putting my child in a small school with hopes that he would get more individual attention and that the environment would be more personal. I do feel my child has grown and learned a lot over the past year, but more due to his own initiative rather than the school or the teachers. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't choose this school. Overall, the staff is cold and unfriendly (with one exception - the head infant teacher is wonderful). The director is generally defensive and fosters an environment which is almost antagonistic with the parents - any questions about school processes or your individual child seem to be regarded with an undercurrent of hostility. Communication has definitely been lacking - despite the fact that we indicated that we wanted routine updates about our child's progress, getting information is like pulling teeth. The physical facilities are also sorely lacking.
