Review content:
On a recommendation from hotel staff, I came to Rosita's Place with my fingers crossed. Even my most lofty expectations could not have imagined the quality of food I was about to enjoy. Being from the east coast, I didn't even know mexican food could taste like this. And while I did try other mexican restaurants on my trip, I ended up eating here three times on a four-day trip; it's just that good! The tortillas, salsas, rice, beans.... everything was the best I've ever had. Service is casual but efficient and the atmosphere is simple but quite pleasant. It's just the kind of understated little spot you would like to claim as your own. Oh, and for you aficionados, It is my understanding that this is qualified as Sonoran-style, the most local to southern Arizona. Pros: Food, authenticity, prices. Cons: Location, if it matters to you.
