I don't usually store much stock by negative reviews on the internet, so when I hired Jet Lines to do my move, I read the reviews. I prepared my things just like my contract stated and got ready to have the price jacked up on me, which it was by over two thousand dollars. I was prepared though so I didn't sweat it. The movers showed up 45 minutes late, but they were efficient. They eyeballed the weight of my things, which I found ridiculous, but I went with it if it meant that they would treat my things with respect. When my stuff arrived in DC boxes had been opened and riffled through. THEY STOLE FROM ME during my move. The police told me there was nothing they could do without an address to report the theft from because it's a jurisdictional thing. I filed a claim with their insurance company who offered me $50 in damages, like I would even consider taking $50 for what they stole (about $1000 of DVDs). They violated my trust, they took my things, and then had the audacity to deny any wrongdoing and refuse to speak to me. I've filed a claim with the BBB, and if they don't pay up I'm taking them to court. Don't use them- seriously. The fact that all of their reviews are 1 star or 5 star makes me think they are doing damage control online. Check out the reviews on Yelp, they are even worse then here. This company should be shut down. Again, THEY STOLE FROM ME.
