Review content:
My friends and I stopped at Niagra Bar on our way downtown to the lower east side... we wanted to stop and just have a drink. It was early in the evening and not very crowded. We made our way to the bar to the last three stools at the end. Within getting our drinks, the bartender asked for our IDs again (clearly for some reason did not trust his own bouncer who is paid to check IDs) and said ""I don't mind if you don't tip, but you would MIND moving out of the best seats in the house right (clearly the end seats are the best) ""He then proceeded to keep checking his cell as if someone important was going to call...If he waited maybe 2 minutes or another drink he would've gotten a well deserved tip; instead we downed our drinks and left. I dont' care if this man was the owner/bartender for the night; any good buisness person should know that they need to treat a paying customer with some respect and courteous behavior. No one needs to have their mood ruined even more by someone they're paying at an establishment they chose to walk into. Needless to say I'm never going there again.
