I finally got around to having my ducts cleaned. They haven't been cleaned since 1953. I couldn't believe how thick the muck was. It was probably 12 inches thick. Brian showed up from Ductworks and ended up staying the entire day. He scraped and scraped and scrubbed my ducts until the were completely cleaned. I was really embarressed that it was so bad and that I had waited so long. But he was so nice and never made me feel bad. Now the air in my house smells so fresh I can actually tell the difference. I am so happy my kids are breathing fresh air.
