Review content:
Always walked by this place and loved the outdoor seating. My boyfriend and I finally stopped by early this summer mid June and the place seemed in disarray. My boyfriend couldn't get over the extreme amounts of mundane pictures of some film shoot which turned out to be the Departed in place of utilizing the underlying charm of the old building. I agreed. The chicken sandwich was bland, dry and unimpressive and the biscuits and gravy were so soupy I didn't even want to ask for a spoon. A neighboring table had some sort of unconventional huevos rancheros. All in all for the prices it didn't seem worth it. We only went there anyway cause the line was longer than normal at Enid's. I guess the longer this place is in business the longer the line will get at Enids so my boyfriend and I are planing on waiting from now on. The service was okay except for some guy with an accent asking stupid unnecessary questions to the staff when the place was really busy. If that greek looking guy is the owner then I understood the frustration on our waiter's face. We gave him an extra tip for having to deal with an owner who obviously doesn't belong operating a restaurant. In all there are better places to go in the area unless you're in the park and need to use the restroom. Which is to the back right as soon as you walk in. Pros: Good bathroom near the park Cons: Needs a real manager and not some foreigner barking at the employees
