I recently had over 1000 feet of oak hardwood flooring installed by Austin Hardwood Flooring. I shopped around and their quote was $1000 less than the other two quotes that I received and they stuck by it. Grant was my salesman and he bent over backwards to please us. We were very particular about our stairs. We wanted solid treads that were factory stained because we did not want the inconvenience and mess of sand and stain on sight. They had to get the flooring and the stairs from two different places to accomplish this. Grant had difficulty in getting the stains to match but he persevered and now it is perfect. The installation crew was fast! At 8am, about 20 guys showed up and starting working immediately and by 5 pm it was all done. The owner, Don, stopped by the next day to check their work. My husband and I couldn't be happier!
Pros: Great job - Stuck by their competitive quote despite a few unexpected challenges.
