Dale Markel at Austin Hardwood Flooring is an absolute professional and an expert in flooring. We have a lot of carpet in our 6,000 ft house that needed to be replaced with hardwood whilst we (2 adults, 2 kids and a puppy) are living in it. Mr. Markel was here 3 times before the work even began! Measuring, helping with material choices and colors, etc. He helps you find what goes best with the house, not necessarily what is the most expensive. He clearly has a lot of experience, also with stairs. So far, we have done the living and dining room and the entrance way. This may all sound pretty straightforward, but it wasn't. It included ""a step from h...,"" but the workers kept coming back, cheerfully, trying to get it fixed. A word about the guys that did the work: they came on time, they were polite, they did their work and were as ""invisible"" as you can possibly be with a saw and a grinder! They also cleaned up after themselves! A wonderful experience in a very stressfull time! Austin Hardwood Flooring will definitely be doing the rest of our house.
