After the accident this tow truck driver shows up and is very friendly he offers a no charge tow to this collision center, (5227 w. pico) metro collision aka perfect collision aka perfact collision. We get there and Danny seems real nice too nice if that's possible. Later he talks about how his last shop went under under because he tried to turn it in to a chop shop and how we could make money by ripping off the insurance company. We did some research as soon as we got home and decided to get our vehicle out of there. When we go to get our car he charges 570 for 24 hours of storage(we were charged 60 a day when the listed price on the wall clearly showed 55 a day) a tow(245$) and (150$)handling fee. There was never any mention of handling fee either verbally or in paperwork... they never touched it other then moving it a few feet from where the tow truck dropped it to where they parked it (we were waiting for the adjuster to look at it before anything was done). 6 hours of hassle later we have a tow truck there (after he argues its after pickup time..9-4 for pick ups and drop offs even though they stay open till 5 or sometimes 5:30 and when we left after 5 they had another car dropped off by that same tow truck driver that brought us) and he wont accept credit from tow trucks to transfer charges only cash, so we pay out of pocket and were told insurance would pay us back if we're not found at fault for the accident. Once we take it to another shop we were told that they legally couldn't charge over 50 a day for storage and that they couldn't charge handling unless it was in the paper work when we checked it in. So were making copies of the papers now for the insurance company to look at. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!
