Review content:
I had family visiting from Brazil who had never seen a strawberry field, so I took them and my father to Adams Farms. We went with the intention of picking a lot of fruit and taking a few pictures for my cousins to bring home. Unfortunately, there was an older man who could have been the skinny version of Santa Claus working there. Because my cousins speak mostly in Portuguese, he felt it necessary to tell them several times NOT to eat the fruit. They speak English, and had been speaking to me in front of this man IN ENGLISH. They also never touched the fruit. They wanted to take pictures and that was all. We were also not allowed to pick fruit together. This old man with his white hair and beard sent us off in different directions. If I wanted to pick fruit alone, I would have come alone. I brought family so we could have a family experience. When we went to pick strawberries, he told my dad to get out of the field if he wasn't going to pick fruit and he told my cousins to leave entirely because they couldn't be trusted not to eat the fruit if he wasn't watching them. We paid for what we picked and I let a woman inside know that there was a problem with the man outside, that he ruined what could have been a great experience. I informed her that there are unpleasant reviews online regarding that specific man and that we will not be coming back because of him. It's a shame, because the fruit we picked was tasty, but I'd rather pay more in a store for better treatment.
