I've been renting from Nicollet Village for almost 6 years now and have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff may be a little crabby at times, but I'm crabby ALL the time (mostly at people that complain about Nicollet Village) so we all get along very well. I have rented a couple DVD's that did not play in my DVD player, but they replaced them with no hassle because I am not a demanding customer who always thinks I am right. I always find what I am looking for in there. Whether it's Japanese Horror/Torture movies, or ""Relations"" and the City. As far as the drop box goes.....makes perfect sense to me why they do not allow it's usage during business hours. Because it's a pain in the ""rear end"" to have to clean those things out every 5 minutes, and it's the lazy american's excuse to not get out of their cars. It is quite possible, as well, that it could be for security purposes. You know, DVD's are expensive, and 16th and Nicollet isn't the best neighborhood around. Pros: Great selection, 4 for 5, great selection, great selection. Cons: No licorice.
