Businiess name:  Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant

Review content:
ediocre is the way I would sum up this place. I started with my side of refritos. My thinking is that if the beans are good, everything else that follows cant be too bad. The opposite also holds. Theres a certain taste that a lot of chain restaurant refritos have. There must be a supplier of boring, canned refritos. Maybe owners of these chains think the beans are secondary to the main course. No way! Beans are a necessary compliment, and the better the beans, the better my experience. I knew it was over for Abuelos after the first bite of refritos. I had a combo plate: a machaca burrito (menu calls it shredded beef so as not to confuse the gringos), an enchilada, and tamale. None of these were particularly interesting, and they deserve no further comment. Pros: Decor, Service Cons: Food
