After spending nearly two miserable weeks going in circles and holding on the phone for hours during +100 degree heat on a failing 11 year old A/C with our (Old Republic)home warranty program dispatched contractor (rated "F" by the BBB) who always showed up in a shabby van looking like he was coming off a week long drunk, we decided that wasn't working. We found Cogburns online and spoke to Byron at 2 pm. Our AC had been completely down (again) since that morning when the tech took it apart BEFORE finding out he had the wrong parts. He "hoped" he could get back the next day which was a Friday, or by Monday for sure... all this after nickle and diming a barely working A/C, and now it was disassembled as well. Byron listened to our predicament, gave us a verbal quote over the phone for a whole new unit at 2pm, we accepted and confirmed it at 4pm, a couple of incredible Cogburn techs by the names of Dan & Derek showed up at 8pm in a gorgeous fully equipped truck precisely when they said they would, installed the new unit, hauled the old piece of junk away, and we had cool air blowing shortly after 10pm that same night. The home warranty program is cancelled, and Cogburns is the only name we need to know. RESPONSE FROM Cogburn's Service General: Thank you for your review. I will pass the kind words to team members that were involved in taking care of you.
