Businiess name:  Diesel Pizza & Pub

Review content:
I really can't convey how disappointed I was with Diesel. I had friends visiting from out of town and thought it would be a great time to try a new place in our neighborhood. The service was abyssmal, seriously. I think I've been to every restaurant in Atlanta, and this was by far the laziest, slowest, and sloppiest service I ever saw. We waited forever to be seated while the waitresses stood around and talked instead of cleaning off an available table. We sat another 15 minutes before our drink orders were taken and when the remaining members of our party arrived, no one ever came back to get their drink orders. The antipasto platter appetizer was $7.25 and again took about 20 minutes to arrive (I mean, 20 minutes to put some olives and greasy cold cuts on a plate?) The pizza was average at best; upon request I received some of their ""special dipping sauce"" which was a stone cold, slimy garlic-butter concoction . They had to be asked twice to bring enough silverware and plates, and one of our party's orders didn't arrive until 15 minutes after the rest; we shared our food with her while we waited. They never asked about drink refills and didn't even check on us until we were finished. We ordered cannolis for dessert; they were TINY and the pastry was hard as a rock. The music was BLARING so that we couldn't even hear each other speak. Finally, my husband had to actually go chase someone down to bring us our bill which was an unbelievable $75 for one small pizza, one large pizza, a sandwich, the nasty antipasto platter, and the cannolis. All told, the whole ordeal took almost 2 hours on a Thursday night! My friends insisted I should complain, but I just wanted to get out of there. My husband did go back to complain to a woman I guess was a manager; she was carrying her baby around with her. She was rude and condescending and said, ""well you could've asked to have the music turned down"" and finally just dismissed him with, ""Sorry you feel that way."" Pros: The restaurant had nice ambience. Cons: TERRIBLE service, overpriced, rude management
