Review content:
The food at this restaurant can hardly be considered quality Italian. The pesto, which is a common and basic dish, was served with tubular noodles that appeared to just have some torn cooked basil atop. It looked terrible and was almost tasteless without any hint of parmesan or pine nuts. The other pasta dish, the broccoli cavatelli, was an improvement, but by no means compares to any of the authentic and delectable dishes we've experienced in this area. The salmon was somewhat dry and just average overall. The service was fairly satisfactory until we asked for vegetarian options and the waiter proved unknowledgeable. Our father had an accident in the booth and the staff spoke audibly and disrespectfully just around the corner at the host table. An unpleasant situation was made much worse by their embarrassing comments and unwillingness to be understanding. With so many incredible Italian restaurants on The Hill, don't waste your time on this below average place. Pros: Salad was good Cons: Pasta- especially pesto
