I've been going to Hashiguchi for 16 years. The sushi is always very fresh and tasty, and the sushi bar is friendly and lively. The owner Masato is a masterful and creative sushi chef. The spicy tuna roll is the tastiest I've had anywhere. It's an authentic Japanese place without the glitz and pretense that you find in some of the newer sushi restaurants. They also have a fantastic and extensive lunch menu for around $8. The udon and soba noodles are incredibly deliciious and make a great lunch. The service is very friendly and attentive. Some of the same waitresses have been there as long as I have been going. They've probably been there longer because the restaurant has been there for 25 years. They are doing something right.
