I just moved to Austin from Virginia about five months ago and since than I have been looking for a stylist to do my hair, and if you are a woman of color you know that this is a crutial matter. I didn't know where to find a stylist that knew how to take care of my hair. I've been to about six different salons, all of them told me they knew how to deal with my hair. Once I get there I find out that they did not know what they were doing. Finally, last week I found A New Image Salon on city search and decided to give them a try. I was so impressed when I walked in the salon. It is so clean and cozy. The lady that did my hair styled it exactly the way I wanted it. I got a relaxer a conditioning treatment and a style. I left out of there feeling rejuvinated and best of all I had finally found a stylist to do my hair. I would recommend anyone new in town to go there.
Pros: professional atmosphere and very skilled in what they do
Cons: I can't think of any I found
