when we first went in we were greeted by a very pleasant young man, they were a little busy but that didn't hamper waitstaff's mood, a plus! He took the time to explain whatever questions we had about vietnamese dishes as we clearly were novices to vietnamese cuisine and how to ""eat"" some of the dishes. This was very much appreciated, as sometimes we've tried other ethnic foods and were left to figure it out ourselves. Had the Pho ga and it was a lovely soup and so filling! Also had the vietenamese pancake and the vietnamese iced tea was amazing! it had a very unique flavor that i can't wait to have again. does anyone know if i can buy it anywhere to make at home or have a recipe? yum! the prices were also great and best of all, close to the south side! will take my friends for sure!
Pros: fresh food and unintimidating atmosphere, location
