So after seeing Cafe Hoang on ""Check, please"", my wife and I decided to give it a try. I am not a regular at Vietnamese restaurants so my knowledge of the cuisine is quite limited. I am , however, a very adventurous diner. We had to wait about 20 minutes or so to be seated but we knew that after see thing the restaurant on t.v., that would be the case. After being seated, our waiter came promptly and took our order.
I had and wholly recommend the 'soft shell crab in tamarind sauce'. This is on the Chef's Special side of the menu. My wife had some sort of seafood soup with noodles and she was also impressed.
Kudos to the chef and if you are in the mood for an ""authentic ethnic restaurant"", this is the place for solid Vietnamese. With 2 apps and 2 entrees, our bill was $40.
Pros: Food Service Price
Cons: small and must wait or 20-30 minutes
