I have been a teacher with KRK for 3 years and I must admit that I have been hurt by many of the comments posted. My personal teaching philology is to teach respect and empathy for others. I guess this is a lesson for some adults too! I want each child to feel respected, loved and able to know without a doubt that they are important and what they say and think matters. I have been in the childcare field for seven years. I have gained experience from other teachers who took me under their wing. Many teachers here try and do the same thing with new staff. As far as KRK is concerned I believe that we will not be able to meet the needs of everyone who enters. Some staff will not be willing to learn or work together. We let them go! Some parents will not like the diversity or personality of our staff. We will let them go! Everyone must make up their minds on how they feel about our school. Chances are you will not like some teachers or families. That can be said about all schools. The question that remains is how will you handle it? Will you complain and slander others with half truths and lies or will you help make our space a better place? This year we are trying to get feedback on how we are doing by starting a P.T.A. Childcare and education will only be successful if we work at it together as a team. My encouragement for everyone who reads these comments is to read with open eyes. If a comment is posted and you can feel the hate and anger flowing from it then chances are that is the kind of person they were when they were with us. I myself have had times that I was angry win KRK but I NEVER slandered them the way some people here have done. I worked it out and found a way to make things better.
