I just moved into the neighborhood and I think that I have found my ""Cheers"". After two visits, they literally did know my name. The barbecue is a hidden winner on the menu, it's not a barbecue restaurant, but the Dry Rubbed, Hickory and Mesquite Smoked Ribs that I had last night, were the best that I have ever eaten. Smoky, with a tangy sauce, complete with tender candied yams and collard greens that would have made my mama smile. My dining partner had the Escovitched Snapper, it was freshly fried perfectly covered with a melange of pickled and peppered vegetables and spices. She had the Mac & Cheese and Garlicy Sauteed Vegetables, YUM. The cornbread with sauce, is worth going to enjoy, just on it's own. Good live music and the bar was lively, with setting on both sides, looks like quite a singles scene. We almost missed the place, since it's so tucked away on 125th Street, put it is so pretty inside. Altogehter a totally relaxing evening. Hello Cheers, thanks for welcoming me to the neighborhood. Pros: Great Barbecue & Seafood-Sexy Bar, Pretty Place, Parking Cons: Wednesday, Thursday Great, Friday Crowded
