Review content:
If you are in need of a luthier, Rosen Music is the only game in the metro area. Unfortunately, the guys at Rosen Music are keenly aware of this. I wish I could attest to their skills as luthiers, but I was completely turned off by their arogant and borderline rude demeanor while on the phone with them. My collection of bass guitars are not expensive by any stretch of the imagination but are valuable in regards to sentiment and playability. I contacted Rosen Music in regards to having a minor paint chip repaired on one of my Spector basses. I was immediately told by ""Tim"" that he was very busy and that ""...he doesn't work on 'cheap' basses...."" and that he ""...doesn't waste his time on anything worth less that $2000..."" Needless to say, I was slack-jawed in disbelief at what I had just heard. So, the moral to this story is, if you have a very expensive bass that needs luthier work, Rosen Music is your place. All others? Don't waste their time.
Pros: I wish I knew.
Cons: Rude, Rude, Rude!
