My mom came in town to visit from Chicago, where her and her husband have a restaurant that they have owned for 35 years. My fiancee, mother and I went to Urban for dinner on Saturday night. They were busy, but we didn't mind having a glass of wine at there very posh bar. Looking around the decor of the restaurant is very sheek but you certainly feel at home in there. Upon being seated at our table for dinner we ordered the ribs, croquettes and oysters Urban appetizers. I don't think the dishwasher had much job security that evening for we ate every last bite of our. Simply amazing!! My fiancee said they were the best ribs he's ever had in his life. For dinner I ordered a pasta dish with chicken, goat cheese and spinach which was wonderful. My mother and fiancee ordered seafood entrees, he ordered a scallop entree and she ordered angel hair with clams. The scallops were huge and cooked to perfection, which my mother had commented on how hard that is to do with such large scallops. Her pasta dish with clams she said was out of this world. The restaurant is a quaint restaurant so if you don't like to wait for a table you might want to visit on a weekday night, but you must go!! You don't want to miss out on the mouth watering food and outstanding service. This is certainly a piece of Buckhead here in Roswell. I give it two thumbs up and an empty plate!!
