Review content:
We were referred to Deborah Stephenson and Reachsource Adoptions by our agency ( A Baby Step Adoptions, formerly Adoption Associates llc ), who we eventually left due to such poor advice. We were not confident, but the agency assured us they had worked with her in the past and adoptions had succeeded through her. We paid our matching fee and the birth mother expenses and immediately the birth mother disappeared. Poof. So then our only option with her was to be ""matched"" again since she does not refund fees when she fails to see the adoption through. But she had no reasonable situations to offer us and we went on to a reputable agency (Connections Adoption Services). We felt we were scammed by Reachsource and Deborah Stephenson.
Reachsource is an adoption facilitator, which is illegal in many states. A facilitator is an unnecessary third party who lures birth mothers through the internet for profit, thus keeping them from using a reliable agency who can support them with social services.
Pros: Easy to talk with
Cons: Did not deliver after money paid
