The salad bar has been revamped but still lacks much. It offers mostly the basics while charging almost $10.00 for it. The steaks are great, the breads are great, the deserts are great and the service is great. I've been a fan for at least a dz yrs going there several times a yr. Hope to see it continue to prosper. I don't understand the negative reviews. I can only believe it must be for the owners political views. Those negative reviews are completely unwarranted. It's too bad people have to bring politics into the mix and lie after, I'm certain, enjoying a great meal. The prices are in line with most other steakhouses in Houston. I will continue to enjoy their foods in the future. Re/ the wait for seating: no reservations equals a long wait and that's only because the place is great, otherwise people wouldn't be coming back. While you wait they offer free soda and tea drinks as well as chips and salsa, and popcorn; where else does one get that? The service has ALWAYS been prompt whether the restaurant was 1/2 full or full. Everyone that I have taken there has loved it!!!! Pros: The very best breads, steaks and deserts in Houston Cons: puny salad bar
