What a nightmare. I decided to get my haircut at Visible Change at La Cantera. Now, I wish I never stepped a foot in that salon. The store looked very professional and I thought I would get a good haircut and to my surprise I received a bad haircut and bad customer service. I asked the stylist, Evelyn, for angle bob hairstyle. I had shoulder length hair. I brought in two pictures of the angle bob haircut. One picture showcase the length of the haircut I desired and the other picture showed how I wanted my hair cut in the back. I wanted my hair to gently encircle my neck while angling towards the front of my face. I did not get the haircut I desired. If my mother did not come with me to the salon, I would have walked out with hardly any hair on my head. The stylist started dropping her scissors, flat iron, and comb when my mother grabbed the pictures to compare my haircut to the pictures. She did not clean the hair tools and continue using them in my hair. She knew she gave me a bad haircut and she got busted. Worse than getting a bad haircut, the stylist was arrogant too. She kicked me out of her chair when I asked her not to cut layers at the ends of my hair near my face (tipping) instead of a forward angle line like we agreed upon. I thought a customer was suppose to get the haircut they desire, and they should communicate how they want their hair cut to the stylist. She excused herself for about five minutes while I was sitting in her chair. Then she told me another stylist would cut my hair without any explanation why. She told me I would be sitting in the waiting area for about ten minutes until another stylist could cut my hair. She sent me to the waiting area with a smock on, mirror in hand, hair messed up, and my hair stuck on the smock. Everybody was staring at me (humiliating). The stylist was cutting another clients hair with a smile on her face. The whole salon witnesses the rude behavior and did not care. To add insult to injury, the next stylist asked me why my hair was parted in a weird way. The next stylist finished my haircut. I went to pay for the haircut, and I told the receptionist that I did not appreciate the bad customer service or haircut. She said sorry in a nice nasty manner and asked me to take a picture to keep the picture of the haircut on file like I wanted that haircut again. They do not care how their customers feel has long as they can cut the customer?s hair the way they desire. They would not offer my money back until I complained to the cooperate office. The stylist never apologizes for the rude behavior and the supervisor rallied behind the stylist. They put themselves over the customer when it should be the other way around. What happened to customer first or customer is always right? The stylist forgot that she was performing a service to give a haircut the customer desired and to be nice during the process. Pros: Clean Salon Cons: Bad Customer Service and Haircut
